Jumpstart Hiring Initiative

UF launched the “Jumpstart” initiative in 2009 with the goal of hiring faculty in a broad range of critical need areas.  To date, UF has hired over 70 professors through Jumpstart – including a team of five neuroscientists from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, as well as new faculty from the California Institute of Technology, Duke, Harvard, Princeton and Berkeley.
